Before connecting WhatsApp you need:

1. Read WhatsApp policy Business Policy | WhatsApp Business

2. Pass Business Manager verification. To do this, follow these steps:

• Create Facebook Business Manager or log into it if you already have one.

3. Add a number for WhatsApp

We recommend using a new phone number that is not currently used by other WhatsApp apps.

Payment for using WhatsApp will be handled by Meta directly, so you will need to add a payment method to your WhatsApp Business account. To do this, go to the Business Settings panel in Meta Business Suite, select WABA and go to the Settings tab. There you can add a payment method: https://business.facebook.com/settings/whatsapp-business-accounts/

After completing these steps, go to Smart Messenger, Channels tab and click Create

Open

Select WhatsApp

Open

Click continue with Facebook

Log in to your Facebook account and follow the further instructions

Confirm your company information

Enter your phone number and select a verification method (text message)

Enter the verification code that will be sent to you

At the bottom, click Continue

If the connection was successful, you will see the following

and WhatsApp messenger will be added to the list of channels
