One-Time Notification (OTN) and Recurring notification allow you to send messages to contacts after a 24-hour window, if the contact has given permission to do so.

One-time notification allows you to send a message to a contact once during the year.

To start using one-time notifications, you need to request access permission in your business page settings in the “Advanced Messaging” section.

In most cases, permission is given instantly.

Recurring notifications can be sent:

  1. Daily for 6 months after subscription (one message per calendar day)

  2. Weekly for 9 months after subscription (once per calendar week)

  3. Monthly for 12 months after subscription (once per calendar month).

To request permission from a user, go to Facebook channel mode

Click "Manage" to create a notification topic.

The notification topic is a name that indicates the specific message you want to send to the contact according to their last request.

Enter the name of the topic (the subscriber will not see it), select the frequency of notifications.

Upload an image. Select a notification subject and enter a title.

The subtitle and button text are preset by Facebook and cannot be changed. The language will change depending on the language of the subscriber.

The picture will be displayed in the recurring notification message. For One Time Notification (OTN), the picture is ignored.

All of the following notices must be sent by you with an appropriate topic. You can also tag users for convenient segmentation.

In the Broadcasts section, you can send a message to those subscribers who have allowed a certain type of notification

To avoid blocking by Facebook, the message you send using notifications must match what the user agreed to receive (1 message in the specified period).
