Smart Pixel allows you to automatically perform an action with a subscriber when a certain event occurs.

To work with Smart Pixel you need to do the following:

Go to the console and select the Smart Pixel section.

Find the code section and add it to the <head> of all the pages you want to track events on.

You can limit the list of domains from which you need to receive events

By adding the source, specifying the domain name as in the example:

Triggers - trigger events/actions. For example, a trigger might be a visit to the “Thank you for ordering” page. To create a trigger, go to the Triggers section and click the Create button.

Set the name of the trigger, whether it is necessary to reactivate the trigger. If the checkbox is checked, the trigger will run only once. You can also save request parameters from url to pre-created custom variables if you check the corresponding checkbox. Request example: https://smartsender.com?email=test@gmail.com&phone=+3800000000 In this example, the variables email and test will be added to the contact card. You can fill in user data from absolutely any sources, for example, third-party email newsletters, if the user has followed the link from Smart Sender at least 1 time and his UserId is written in his cookie file. The UserId in the cookie is stored for 10 years.

Click on the name of the created trigger

Select an event type. It can be: Page View, Manual Event, Link Followed, Page View, Form Submission, Video Playing, Video Paused, Video Viewed. Events with VIDEO only work when using the standard HTML5 player.

Specify the condition under which the page view trigger will fire.

It could be:

Page URL: https://smartsender.com/lp/test

Page Path: /lp/test

Page domain: https://smartsender.com

Then add a tag that will be added when the created trigger fires. You can select it from the list of already created ones or create a new one.

To CREATE A TAG, go to the tags section and click create:

Specify a tag name

Go to the tag by clicking on it

Set an action for the tag. By analogy with the rules

All triggers and tags can be sorted into folders according to your needs.

In order for Smart Pixel to work and be passed to userid, you need to enable the corresponding option in the button settings in the funnel editor.
